Question Whose gonna quit with me?

      Hello everyone !

Well i'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right place, if not sorry!

I have been a heavy pot smoker for 9 years , and have been reading on this site smoking it will affect my dream recall/ability to become lucid. Which isn't a big suprise as it affects my memory when awake. Anyway ,(stop rambling woman! Lol) I have decided to quit, and was wondering if anyone else on here was doing the same? Maybe we could encourage each other or just chat.I know it will be a challenge for me but i i'm sure i can overcome it Lol.

If anyone is interested PM or mail me :p

      Thanks !
      Lucille x

If you want some support from a "been there, done that" guy, feel free to PM me. I smoked dope heavily from age 12 through 21 and did a lot more... been "quit" for years now.

Good luck to you. You'll be amazed at how different and wonderful the world will feel once the cloud lifts and the haze subsides.

We can quit together, I just need to pretend I smoke it first

Have you got any family that can help you?

wow that's really interesting that pot hampers lucid dreams...i would have guessed that it puts you in more of an open-minded state where you think more about perspective and the "reality" of your surroundings and such. maybe you have to have the clarity to distinguish between dreams and wakefulness though.

I guess it could be different for everyone, but personally weed certainly kills just about every aspect of dreaming for me. It's even worse then alcohol, for me at least.

I do remember alot of my dreams, although i think they may be clearer/last longer if i didn't smoke it.

Easier said then done though. I will not give up giving up Lol.

I do both. I like a joint now and then, but it wrecks my recall. I'll never quit completely. I'd rather quit alcohol. Sometimes (like now) smoking isn't possible because I have to study. That's not so bad, because I've had two lucids in three days, latest one this morning. (Haven't copied it to my journal yet.) Good luck to you Lucille.
