      Angry Disturbing Noises

      hello again!!
A very weird and strange thing happened me around 2 nights ago.

So i was falling asleep thinking and repeating to myself i am going to have an LD tonight, i continued this on for a while, soon later i found myself in a dark place (not sure where), but i was aware that i was dreaming.
Then a loud horriblr noise seemed to shoot through my head, it was one weird loud noise, i cant explain it. This woke me up.
As i was falling asleep, (you know when you're not really sleeping but you're nearly there), the noise happened again although it had a different pitch/tone this time.

I havent got a clue what these noises are all about, but they are definately coming from my head and are very loud.
If anyone has any suggestions to what they might be please could ya help me out??
      Thanks

Well, when you are on the border-line between wakefulness and sleep, it is very common to hear strange noises, sometimes very loud like you described, sometimes voices, or you could also see images and shapes.
They are called hypnagogic hallucinations. When they come, you should try to stay calm. I know it's hard, but after several times you experience something like that you may get used to them and not be alarmed too much. If you stay calm, they will pretty quickly pass and you can properly enter the dream.
Sometimes the images are incorporated into the dream, and sometimes they disappear and the dream replaces them.

This is definately part of the HI that happens in between dreaming and being awake, you will often hear strange and loud noises, do not see them as disturbing but natural and part of the transition to dreaming. You could use it as an advantage to lucid dream even, especially when WILDing.

Yeah, happened to me once before. Scared the living crap out of me. Don't worry, just remember it isn't real and keep right on WILDing.

      lol I get this too...

...I remember one time waking up hearing a LOUD explosion, I thought it was in a dream but this time the sound was real. I then thought it was outside. I asked my mother if they heard anything she said yes, but up to now we never knew what it was. Everyone who was outside was moving around normally.

      It was wierd

My sound is usually a train moving or a loud gun shot sound. Which doesn't wake me up anymore nor doesn't it affect me anymore.
