      Question :D, Well a couple :>

      Hello!

I've been reading through these forums and tutorials learning about this interesting lucid dreaming. I have gotten my dream recall pretty good after about a week of good practice.. So I thought I would try the WILD method of lucid dreaming.. Anyway I read the tutorial and planned on doing it last night... I Got 6 hours of sleep and woke up. Stood up for about 20 mins went to the bathroom ect.. Then I laid down and tried to relax using the breath counting technic.. It took a while but I started to feel very relaxed.. I couldn't hear my self breathing any more and all the ambient sounds started to fade.. I contined to focus on my breathing when all of a sudden I started to feel my head get really heavy.. I continued trying to relax when all of a sudden I felt as if my body was spinning reallllly fast, like as if i was on a carnival ride. I tried to stay calm and focused but at the same time i was like " I don't remember anything about feeling like you are spinning?".. Anway I tried to stay with it to see where it would lead to but eventually it stopped and i tried to get relaxed again but i couldn't and gave up. That whole spinning thing lasted about a minute and really threw me off.. Sooo my question is what do you guys think that spinning was? Is it a part of the stage or is it something else? Did i do something wrong???

My 2nd question is when I try the breathe to relax technic it says to concetrate on your breathing.. But what exactly do you concetrate on? The air flowing through your body?.. You chest going up and down? Counting the breaths?

      Thanks )

I'll add my two cents, before the experienced guys jump in :p

I'm still not great with WILDS, but I can get to sleep paralysis pretty easily - where your entire body feels like its vibrating slowly and it feels like someones put a heavy blanket over you.

I have had 2 experiences which were similar to yours, although I could see somewhat of a vortex in front of me which felt like it was sucking me in. I am curious to know what this is though, I think its just another part of the paralysis

my first experience with sleep paralysis was quite similar except i had a lot of imagery and audio with it.

i think everybody has a different reaction to different things so just keep calm and tell yourself it isn't really happening and you will then enter

      p.s very good first attempt

That which the dream shows is the shadow of such wisdom as exists in man, even if during his waking state he may know nothing about it... We do not know it because we are fooling away our time with outward and perishing things, and are asleep in regard to that which is real within ourselves. Philipus Aureolus Paracelsus

To follow up my last comment, as well as the common sleep paralysis, I have had 1 wild and 1 fild (see finger induced lucid dreaming - it works ) and when jumping into the wild there were really strong vibrations so youre on the right track .

Even if you dont get into the wild, the vibrations are really cool!

Hehe I found them scary the first time, and I got so excited that I kind of stopped them. Once you know that its normal and you cant get hurt, relax and enjoy the ride

ive never had a WILD but i came pretty close. im guessing that the spinning is one of the phases. Probably one of the vibrations. im guessing tht everyone has their personal vibration and spinning might be yours. the ones that ive felt would be my bed shaking and something like spiders crawling on my back. did you feel anything like that? because if u did then it might not be one of the vibrations. if it is something different, im not one to talk to. thats basically all i know about WILDs.
