      My head is falling........

has anyone ever woke up in the middle of the night and felt as though their head was on a backwards roller coaster? a sort of tingly feeling at the crown where you can feel a portion pull up and then fall down, but it keeps falling as if it will never stop, and i try to yank it back. its a struggle and i hate the feeling, all i want to do is go back to sleep. after struggling for a few minutes i finally tell myself to let go.......and then i feel like i am flying. all i see white, not a solid, but white vertical shapes and i try to look down, but i can't. does anyone know what i'm talking about? i am not trying to make something happen, i just want to go back to sleep without all the pulling and falling sensations.

Greetings amstoll and welcome to the forum

That backwards feeling...do you mean the hypnotic jerk? It usually happens when you are exhausted.

Sometimes you can have this jerk on the edge of falling asleep too. Other then that, I'm not entirely sure about what it is.

UNLESS you had SP and the vibrations from that made you feel like you were your head was falling?

Could this waking up be a false awakening? Then you dream these strange sensations?
