Sometimes you can have this jerk on the edge of falling asleep too. Other then that, I'm not entirely sure about what it is.

UNLESS you had SP and the vibrations from that made you feel like you were your head was falling?

Could this waking up be a false awakening? Then you dream these strange sensations?

Hmm, these jerk things... I used to get them quite alot.. well, notice them. They would always wake me up.
