      New parts of levels 7-10?

Ok, so you gain total control,,, then what. I like developing specific senses to high levels. One example is standing in a stream in a dream, experiancing the coolness of the water below and warmth of the day above while watching how the flowing water distorts your view of your feet. Another, review your senses,,, chant some sylables out loud, really hear them, while focusing sight on your hands while feeling your hands go through mudra forms (gestures), then pick up a sweet roll and smell it, then taste it. I guess those can fit into any level, but maybe define how lucid your dreams are. Maybe a level beyond 10 would be when you finally are contacted by real other worldly beings, not just dream charectors. This wipes level 10 away because some of these beings will always be able to exert more will on a dream scape than your run of the mill level 10. A level beyond that? Well lately I have been brought into a place where some of the dream items have a solidity to them. A barrier that can not be dreamt away for example. It seems some dream entities value some kind of stable dream items, but this is still a great confussion to me, but when I get more grasp on it, maybe I will be at another level? Great fun and I real like your dream level post, these are just variations that came to mind. Looking forward to the whole forum thing!

No, I still think ninja9578's definition of level 10 is as accurate as a scale like this will ever be. When you have power over everything, the only interesting thing left to do is to take that power away and play with limitations. I guess you're suggesting something like that too, sivason, but "real otherworldly beings" can't really fit into a scale that's meant to be in accordance with current scientific thought.

      Current thought?

I guess there are some web-sights I should be looking at? Help me out on a couple things, please. Is there a glossery where everyone is getting terms like WILD or maybe you could throw a coulpe examples out so I can comunicate better? Is there some actual scientific tests you know about, or kind of sciency web sights?
I guess what I was talking about is a bit like level 10 in that if you have more than 1 powerful dreamer in a dream you do have limited power, even if you are 'god lucid' when alone. Then you do not always win games and other dreamers can suprise you, and so on. You still can fly, and change sceens and walk through walls, but some dreamers can hide form you or force a scene they want to stay, even when you are used to being God when alone. So, it is basically the same idea as lvl 10.
Seriously though can anyone tell me about basic things like "this months dream tasks" I see that alot or the most basic terms like WILD, or show me a link, so I can chat easier.... Thanks

You know, I really think that the most competent source of knowledge and spiritual guidance is clearly someone who chooses to call themselves "born_2_kill". Nothing like a destiny full of taking lives to really key you in to a higher wisdom and knowledge.

sivason, if you want to bone up on lucid dreaming terms and acronyms a good place to start is the main site and the tutorial board on these forums. Since a lot of these boards is about discussing what works and what doesn't work for getting lucid and since getting lucid requires (for those ungifted with spontaneous LDs) you to employ a technique, most of us have read tutorials for the common LD induction techniques (WILD, MILD, DILD, DEILD, FILD, WBTB, on and on) which is where a lot of our lingo springs from. These lucid tasks you hear about are a sub-forum on the Lucid Experiences board where people can take on the challenge of performing a certain task in their lucid dreams. It helps with motivation, dream control mastery, and just staving off boredom.
