      Smile Hello!

Hi i'm Sanquis. I stumbled upon this forum after looking for dreams on wikipedia, which lead me to lucid dreams on wikipedia and due to my curiousity I went into my research on lucid dreams and found this nice community.
In general I would describe myself as a freindly person, willing to help anyone who needs it and treating even people I detest with respect, sometimes I am in situations where I just think "Wouldn't the world be more peaceful if everyone was like me?" usually followed by the thought of "No...that would be quite boring..." I enjoy playing recreational computer games usually online ones, and I like playing tennis, basketball, wii-sports (hey! its tiring if you play boxing vs an ex-boxer!) and I also enjoy roleplaying of many sorts which is why lucid dreams have a perticular appeal to me (I remember when I used to play "Who-do-you-want-to-be with my little sister, so long ago...).
I read most tutorials on lucid dreaming and I am pretty sure I have had a lucid dream before even realising what it was! This is actually my first day, learning about lucid dreaming so im not rushing into anything (but keeping my fingers crossed that I might get another lucid dream from doing all this reasearch all day :p).
My most recent and only memoriseable lucid dream was actually two days ago whereby in-dream I was being chased, which mysteriously transfigured into a large gathering of all my freinds...some of which I didn't actually know...but suddenly I realised "Hey, this is a dream isn't it?". The rest is blurry but I blame that on my memory but I do remember very vividly what happened after. For some reason I was flying over houses neatly organised as far as the eye could see, flying in circles and laughing as I played amongst the clouds, the sun was that of a morning kind and I suddenly was overcome by the excitement of "I can go anywhere I want!!" This was a major mistake and I immediately woke up. As unfortunate as that was I am happy of what little time I spent in a lucid dream. This dream is what lead me here and I hope to one-day learn how to control and induce lucid dreams, i'm pretty sure everyone here does.
I'm very happy to be here and i'd like to give a big thankyou to everyone here in the community. (And a hug if you want it).

Welcome. Wow, already lucid dreaming, good start.

Nice introduction; good that you've read around and seem to know your stuff. Make yourself at home, get involved with the place and feel free to ask if you have any problems.

Hi Sanquis, It's good to see you have read most of the tutorials, that means you have already made a start into learning how to LD. So that's cool. It's even better that you are sure that you've already had one.

Well welcome to the forum, if you need anything please feel free to ask.
