Welcome to Dreamviews, etc. etc.

I'm afraid I haven't experienced anything quite like what you described. However, would you describe it more as an notion of needing to be doing something, or a rather indescribable emotion?
The antsy feeling and thunderstorm correlation makes me think it may be a form of panic attacks, albeit subtle. I suffered from them for some time, and can relate some of the feelings to what you described.

I'm not one to pick apart a complex mental device, though, so on to your question:

Yes and no. I believe you can gain a huge amount from Lucid Dreaming. It is possible you could find an answer you are satisfied with in one of you dreams. I believe it is much more likely that you can be more at peace with yourself, and thus, with everything else. It is, after all, only perception!

You can learn a great deal about yourself through LD'ing, meditation as well. You seem one that would be very interested in Dream Guides: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ht=Dream+Guide

Should you choose to start, do NOT stress yourself out. This will ruin your LD'ing ability, and in general make things harder. Take it easy.

P.S. I don't know what to say about the number thing. Perhaps ask in the Beyond Dreaming section. I'm sure many people will 'suddenly recall' this strange phenomenon in their life. (Sorry if that sounded accusatory, but it's something I've noticed happening lately.)
