      Angry Getting frustrated!

I’ve been at this for just about a month and cant make much headway. I remember more of my dreams now but cant remember everyone. But I just cannot become lucid. My dream last night I was exploding propane tanks by shooting them with a paint ball gun and the thought never crossed my mind that I was dreaming. I just cant seem to manage it. Any help?

HEY don’t worry, I have been there. Shoot there was times I didn’t know were my next dream was comen from. Man I got mad as hell. And it’s ok to be mad for a second.
But you have to remember everyone has a different ability when it comes to having lucid dreams. For some people it could take years to achieve a short flow of lucids.
Don’t give up. Keep trying. How often are you’re reality checks?

well....i kind of gave up on reality checks when they got boring and didn’t seem like they had any effect. im too eager though. i want to skip journals and reality checks and get to walking on water and diving off buildings. my technique for remembering my dreams is just repeating over and over again "i will remember my dreams" in my head for like 5 minutes before bed

It takes some awhile to get good at being lucid. Many of my dreams are very strange and very long, and I have had one DILD so far. Believe me, keep trying, 'cause it's worth the effort

Do that, and question whether you're dreaming during the day. I've had two LDs, and in both of them I got lucid by realizing I'm dreaming, just by thinking the thought that I might be. I didn't even do any RCs.

As boring as they are you have to do Reality Checks.
I agree they are boring, and tedious,

and if you want to walk on water sore the sky and visit another planet, you have to.
Well at least do one or the other. Please try to do one or the other.
MY dream journal is living proof that both reality checks and the journal WORKS.

Even if you weren’t going to take my advice which do you prefer generally?

i perfer the dream journal over the reality checks, ive got a private page on freewebs.com where i keep them all written down instead of an actual notebook. i figured it might be a little awkward if somone stubbled upon a notebook and read all my dreams

but i dont really see how the dream journal is helping me. i dont have any paticular dream pattern. at one point im the leader of a country and my vice president is a great dane and the next dream im playing paintball blowing up propane tanks. and none of this seems the slightest bit odd.

When you quit trying to attein LD that means, you werent serious enough to attein it. Just tell your mind that LD is natural for you and that you will control your dreams when ever you want. AT this rate your subconcious will have no choice but to open the LD flow to you.

When you access the LD state handle it as gentle as possible, excitment or panic will ruin the fun which you can get.
Be positive and positive results will come

If you take the time to carefully write the details of your dreams, you (or your subsonscious) will know what to look for in your dreams, and this hopefully should help you realize you're dreaming.

It's okay to get frustrated but don't quit lding just because of it. Everyone has their own style. For you may need to record your dreams differently or do reality checks a different way. For instance don't look at your finger or whatever to see if you are dreaming really examine the situation to see if you are dreaming or not.

Either you're being an asshat or you don't know shit. I'm putting my money on both. Guess how long I've known about LDing and how much I've had? 1.5 years and 0, respectively.

A month, and you're thinking of quitting? Cry me a river, build me a bridge and get over it.

if your doing the DILD method
Do it with WBTB, while trying another method like WILD or VILD
      or FILD etc..

      Helps ALOT trust me
i cant stress enuff how much WBTB helps
