Hey Xyn, Welcome to DreamViews. I'll try to answer your questions but someone might beat me to it while I type this.

      1. When you wake up, don't move just lay there and catch onto any small amount of dream you have left, a memory a feeling anything like that. You will many times remember more and more of the dreams and whatever you do remember write it down. I think having a journal will help you remember them because when you wake up you will think that you need to remember them so you can write them down.
      2. Basically an RC is when you check to see if you are awake or dreaming. One way to do it is whenever you see something odd you do an RC to see if you are dreaming or awake. Also you can look at your dreams to see some recurring objects or situations and when you see that do an RC. For an RC you can do many different things, you can look at your hand to see if they are normal looking, you can read some text or a digital watch, look away, then read it again to see if it changed. Alot of people plug their nose then try to breathe through it although that can look funny in real life. One important thing about RCs is even though you may be sure you're awake do them as if you are actually checking because in a dream you'll assume you're awake and do a pathetic attempt at one and then not realize its a dream.
      3. I don't think that would be extremely common because you will realize when you wake up. That is also why you do RCs and why you don't jump out of windows unless you are sure its a dream (especially your bedroom window). When you are in an LD you are usually really sure its a dream because you are doing all this stuff you can't do in real life so don't worry about it, just enjoy LDing.
Also be sure to check out the tutorials and look around all the forums as there are great people here and much more than just lucid dreaming.

Edit: Yep I was right, someone beat me *shakes fist at SilverZero*

At least you got the third part right. Accuracy over speed.

I just posed that question in a thread yesterday. Somebody suggested writing "I am dreaming" on your palm before bed. Then, you'd see it in your dream (or you wouldn't) and you'd know you were dreaming. I said, but what if you wake up and see it? Wouldn't you think you're dreaming and jump out the window? Or something along those lines.

But, yeah, not too likely. I think, mostly, you know when you're awake and when you're dreaming (if you're lucid). That's my experience, anyway.
      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

Oh, ok thanks. I guess I just read alot of posts where people always have to check if there awake or not...

      I guess I have 1 more question =P

Ok, well I want a lucid dream really bad. But I don't remember dreams im having lately cause I'm just going to start the Dream Journal. Will that hurt me trying to get lucid tonight? I mean, I have ALOT of confidence I can get Lucid, but cause I don't remember my dreams is that a problem? Or does it just mean I won't remember being Lucid(Which I guess i'll be ok with).

I guess what Im asking is if I WILD Correctly, is there a chance I will not have a Lucid dream?

No. That's like asking "If I breathe correctly, will I breathe?" If you WILD correctly, you'll be in the lucid dream straight from waking. If you don't, you either fall asleep or you stay awake. If you fall asleep, you still have a shot at a DILD, though.

By the way, if you don't remember your dreams, how do you know you're not having lucid dreams every night? That's why dream recall is so important to get first. You could have the best LD ever, and develop a billion-dollar invention, but if you don't remember it when you wake, it's all for naught.

You can have a lucid dream anytime regardless of if you can rem your dreams or not,it will not hurt you at all. although i don't recommend trying the wild method at first

Its really really hard to pull off, if thats the method you wanna try then go for it but theres easyer methods

Ok, last question that has me questioning.

People talk about when there in dreams, they say, am I dreaming and RC and stuff. Well, when I Dream I can't like say that cause Idk. Like I wake up in the morning and I remember the dream I don't remember the dream as its happening... Just sort of odd, lol.
