      Sup?

Hey hey, of course im new here, been reading the forum for about a week now but havent posted anything.

Anyway, first question, I was just wondering what do YOU do every night before or when you go to bed to prepare for your somewhat "nightly LD's"?

Like I said i've only been here for about a week and thats how long i've been trying this, I have had 1 LD sence I read up on it, happened a few nights ago, but I got way to excited and when I finally realized I needed to calm down....I woke up

      Thanks for any help! Late!

      Welcome on board!

I will usually spent 5 minutes or so affirming to myself that when I dream, I will realize I am dreaming. I also spend a few minutes to fix in my mind what I want to try in my dreams.

Check out the MILD and WILD tutorials. Also look at Kaniaz's list of links. They tell you what to do before you fall asleep.

Dedication is the key...but don't really stress and beat yourself up about it if you arn't that successful in your first few attempts...

I usually think about what I want to dream about. It doesn't really help me attain lucidity, but it usually puts me where I want to be in the dream. That way, I'm more likely to see my dream sign. THEN I have a real shot at lucidity.

      And WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!!!!!!!

Hi, Ryuuza. You should feel loved. This board is full of loving people. Now excuse me while I attempt to flee from the members of this board for saying that.

Beware the Paperdoll in your dreams!!!!

I suggest you take a look in our tutorials, and see what you can find. I generally don't stive for DILDs, but rather try a WILD(it is more certain than other methods for me)

P.S I think its great you've been here for a week and you waited to post. In my opinion, all newbs should do that, instead of flooding the board with stupid questions...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

I follow Seeker's I often find myself Lucid from this tecnique and then in my dream I have no agenda. Which then usually leads to me loosing focus and then...well you know.
