Exclamation Help on inducing lucid dreams...

      Hey all,
I'm a noob on this site and have only quite recently learnt about lucid dreams. I have had them before, when I was younger but I thought nothing of them. I have not had them for a while now and I can't seem to induce them. I was just wondering about getting some tips on how I can make myself know I am in a dream. Thanks in advance.

      Hey welcome to the forum.

Whewre to start.... There are so many ways in which you can induce lucid dreams, I would personally take a look at the tutorial section on the main site and have a read though there. If you have any questions after reading there ask away. Muc easier to answer direct questions about techniques than explain ALL ways of inducing lucid dreams.

I however use the DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream) technique which is like you say, realising in a dream that you are dreaming. Hints and tips are in the tutorials, if you have any questions, ask away

No problem. For unatural lucid dreamers the WILD technique is a good place to start, as are WBTB and MILDs (often combined) And you might find trying to WILD would bring on a DILD anyway because of the MILD element :p

Have a read and give me a shout if you get stuck

      Welcome to the forum

Personally I wouldn't go for the WILD technique when starting, it's notoriously hard and can put people off the subject as a whole for not having much success. I'd suggest the usual things, keep a dream journal and do reality checks and as or techniques, MILD and WBTB can be effective for those first starting (and DILD).
