Thank you for the compliment on my grammar. That's one thing I really do try on.

Well, no more lucid dreams. I've tried most of the techniques, I just can't find one that
works. I spent two hours trying to go into sleep paralysis. I only had my fingers left, I
couldn't move anything else, but then my dog jumped on my bed and my body came out
of paralysis. I tried SP again tonight, and I just fell asleep. No paralysis at all. Then I
attempted again tonight, and it just didn't work.

I'm really trying, and people keep saying it's not that hard, but I've tried most
of the techniques on this forum, and I'm trying with dream recall. I haven't been
able to recall a dream in two nights. I can't seem to have a LD, and I can't recall
any of my normal dreams. It's sort of defeating.
As I was going up the stair / I met a man who wasn't there. / He wasn't there again today / I wish, I wish he'd go away

Two nights? Don't get frustrated that easily! It took me a good week or two to build solid recall, and 1.5-2 months to get my first lucid. But both recall and lucids have steadily increased for me. Just be patient

It's not really the amount of time I've tried. It's more of the fact I've gotten
less than seven hours of sleep in two days, followed by my parents harassing me about every little thing during the day. I'm sort of stressed.
Really, I feel awful. I've heard that your body starts to die after 48 hours with no,
or little sleep. I can't even sleep normally.

This may sound counter-productive, but stop trying for a few days. Just sleep normally, no WILD or WBTB. Stress is a LD-killer, and so is sleep deprivation.

It's more of the stress that's giving me the lack of sleep.
I just can't sleep. I lay in bed hours and nothing happens, or
I go to sleep and wake up three hours later.

My parents kind of threatened to kick me out if I don't
get a job. They gave me a week. I doubt Jesus could even get a job
in a week without a miracle.

Wow, that's really tough. You have every right to be stressed
Try this: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=6214. It's a self-hyponisis LD techinique, try changing the goal to being able to get a full 8 hours of sleep. I find that the technique itself actually makes me much more tired, even without having the goal of having a long sleep.

Thanks. It's been about a week since I've been on. I ended up going
to SC to work for a week so I wouldn't get grounded. I couldn't get
internet up there. During that time my recall pretty much turned to crap.
I think I remembered a total of 3 dreams in the 4 nights I was there.
Only one of them was a good recall.

I did look through my dreams, though. I'm usually talking to a girl I
don't know, or saving a girl. Either way it's not something I normally
do. So I was thinking maybe that could be one of my dream signs.
I typed all my dreams up on my laptop and marked the stuff that
      was familiar in them.

I also want to buy the DVD from the Saltcube website. It looks
like a good DVD, so I'm hoping to get that this week and watch
it. Maybe that could help. I've also tried Sleep paralysis all those
four nights. That didn't seem to work, but I'm going to keep at it.
