I highly doubt its because of the end of the dream, because its happened at least 5 or so times.

I'm probably just going to take it slow next time I have a lucid dream, no sudden flying etc.

I've read on dreamviews in other threads both that me expecting to wake up will most likely make me wake up, and also me being over excited will wake me as well.
