Hi, I'm new

I found this site after seeing someone discussing LD on youtube, and became very interested because I have had a couple LD's without realizing that there was a name for them. Thay were very strange, but alot of fun. It's great to know that one can increase the rate of them occuring, I always assumed it was just random. I was also wondering if my having these LD's meant that it might be easier for me to accomplish having more.

Yes, I think that having natural LDs can help you to greatly increase the number that you have.

Before you begin, you might want to work on your recall, because if you don't have good recall, then chances are you won't remember a lucid dream even if you have one. A great way to increase recall is by keeping a dream journal, and everytime you wake up during the night, write down the dreams that you can remember.

To answer you regarding 'does having ld's make future ld's easier'...LD'ing is something that can be practiced and mastered, like an ability, or learning to ride your bike...the more you try to ride your bike, the more you learn about how to do it and the easier it becomes...just don't give up. I hope that helps.
