I am only 15 and I have had several lucid dreams before, despite having only discovered what they were today. I just experienced a brief lucid dream last night (about 20 seconds), and this is what prompted me to look up what these dreams were.
However, when I read some of the accounts of your experiences, it seemed that you guys are experiencing much higher quality dreams than I have been. Some of your dreams are described as being vivid, emotional, deliberate, exhilarating, under-control, and involving clear and complex thought processes. My dreams, on the other hand, have all been very short (I think the longest was at most 1 minute,) chaotic, my thoughts were totally sluggish, fuddled, and clouded, my senses were extremely dulled and even unresponsive, I could not control anything other than myself, and basically nothing was sharp or clear at all. It was like trying to take a math test after being deprived of sleep for a month and then getting bashed on the head with a sledgehammer a few times for good measure.
How can I improve the quality of my dreams? Thanks alot!
Oh yeah, another problem I had was that I always felt like I was on the verge of waking back up again and I dreaded that, as obviously I wanted my lucidity to continue. This nagging feeling spoiled most of the fun of lucid dreaming.
