I can't quite remember but I've been having them naturally on and off for most of my life. The earliest one to memory is 11 years old but I know for a fact I had them way before that. |

I was in the third grade. I had been having the same nightmare for weeks(sometimes more than once in a night). My poor mom was worn out from staying up with me and she kept telling me that it was just a dream. Dreams are my world and I could do anything that I wanted to make that monster go away. Here is the dream where I made him go away. |

Still waiting for my first! well, the first since i knew what it was. Other than that, i think i was around 13. |

umm.. |

Feb. 2001, so I was 27 1/2. My first was within a week or so of first learning about lucid dreams and beginning to read "Lucid dreaming". |
|
my first was random around age 11, I had several one after the other and I had control, I made a dog and streched out a persons face, all this was before I knew about lucid dreaming. |
|
I was young, like 3. It was a scary experience! |
|
13, but I wouldn't have LDs again until I was almost 15. |

I thinks that this tread needs to be moved. Does not belong in Newbie zone. Job for Webmaster. |

"For every moment of sadness,
There is a moment of happiness lost".
The first one I remember I was around 9 or 10, maybe younger. I was on a sinking ship and I was freaking out along with everyone else when suddenly for some reason I realized I was dreaming. I stopped worrying and I told everyone there's nothing to worry about because it's just a dream. They all still seemed to be terrified because it wasn't their dream and they were still doomed to sink with the ship! |

I was about 5. I remember it well because it still seems strange to this day. I was playing with my mother in my room when the guy from "Angel" walked in. He nodded to me and I began to tell my mother that I was dreaming and that she wasn't real and that it was time for me to wake up now. I also told her that I would see her the next time I went to sleep. I then nodded to the guy and walked beside him all the way from my room out my back door. Lining the way were a bunch of guys in SWAT uniforms. As soon as I went out the door I woke up. I find it strange because it was a lucid initiated by a DC. |

I was 20. I may have had others, but thats the first that I knew about it. I had a FA in my bed and tried to hover, but couldn't. |

I'm a rather new here, but- |

Hey there arumunus, |
|
There is no real-life, there is only AFK.
I don't know how old I was. Somewhere between ages 5-8 or so. I faintly remember it. There was a big bulldog attacking me and I suddenly realized I was dreaming. I didn't do much besides stand up to the dog finding out that it just wanted me to pet him, then I woke up. (It was going to attack me before I was lucid for sure) |
|
The year was 1992 so I was six years old. I remember the year because it was the same year the movie "Wayne's World" was released, and Mike Myers & Dana Carvey were chasing me down the street trying to kill me! I suddenly realized I was dreaming and I sat on the concrete road, covered my head with my hands and told myself that I'm dreaming. I then woke up. |
|
I had my first lucid dream within a week of learning about lucid dreaming. I think that was about sometime in May this year when i was 16. |
|
I'm a right brained freak in a left brained world.
Lucid Count: 44
I was around 7yrs old, and it was all due to all those nightmares I had.. One day I just realized I HAD to be dreaming, and in each dream I'd always try new ways to wake myself up |
|
I have no idea, been naturally lucid dreaming all my life, and can't remember my first as I thought it was a normal thing to be able to control dreams, so never thought much of it. |

REALITY CHECK
Hey, Super Duck, Barnabus doesn't scare me anymore! In fact I became a big fan of Dark Shadows reruns when I was in high school. Thanks for being so considerate though. |

well I was very small when I had my first LD experience... I was like 7 or 8 ... I was dreaming I was in the headmaster's office waiting for him, for I have done something wrong....I was very very nervous...then I realized it was just a dream..and got very happy, I think they even brought some candy after that. Then I wouldn't have one until I was like 17/18. And since then I didn't have one, until 2 days ago |
|
Had dreams where I was flying at ~10. Difficult to say authoritatively that I was lucid because it was some time ago + they stopped happening, so memories fade, and I didn't know the word at the time. I definitely did it often, and I remember being frustrated sometimes when it didn't quite work, because I knew how well I had flown in other dreams. I teleported as well, though not often. |
|
My first intentional lucid was at 16, first one I can remember, possible 5 or 6? |
