      LD While napping?

      Hey there I'm relatively new to this and I had my first LD last night (Yupee) but I was just wondering if it's possible to have an LD when taking a nap?

      Welcome to the forum rockinred and congrats on the lucid dream. Yes, it is possible to have a lucid when napping. Some of the most vivid lucids can happen when this happens. You usually have to be really tired and worn out for it to happen though.

      I almost had a lucid nap today, but I wanted to watch the end of a film, turns out the lucid nap would've been more interesting

      I'm pretty tired, I had to get up at six today and I was up a couple times in the night writing in my dream journal. Thanks for the info!!

      I've never had a LD during a nap. I guess it's not for everyone. Or maybe there's some psychological barrier blocking me. Hey, good job taking the time to write in your DJ even though you had to get up early. It's dedication like that that will get you those LDs.

      I don't take naps often, and when I do, I don't LD. But some people swear by them. You'll just have to try it out and see if it works for you.
