      An Introduction is in Order

I just realized I posted here without introducing myself. First of all, thanks for the many replies to my first post. This seems to be a very nice community with lots of friendly helpful members. I will enjoy my stay here.

As for me, I am an information systems major / self taught programmer turned farmer. I worked in the computer industry for about ten years before deciding that office / city life is not for me. I returned to the family farm to work with my dad. I love what I do and where I live. I live on a street that has no neighbors, no traffic, and no lights. It makes for a perfect environment when trying to dream at night!

I became interested in dream control about two weeks ago. A google search led me here and I have already learned more about this subject than I ever knew (or thought possible) existed!

Good for you at recognizing and acting on such a huge lifestyle decision. I'm in awe of people who do it. A rural life remains in my dreams, though not a farmer's life. We continue to hope to bring a viable small business into a poor county in northern Michigan.

As for dream control, you've certainly found the right place! Welcome to the community.

Hey, to DV! I envy you... I'm almost done with my Bachelors degree and I am in the process of looking for a job, but my secret dream is just to live on a farm somewhere, away from it all.. with a few select loved ones, animals, and DV.

Very nice comments. I hope all you can fully realize your dreams (no pun intended). Here are some pictures from the yard of my house. http://raklet.blogspot.com/2005/06/s...nd-beauty.html

awesome view in the pics, man. Ive been to Glacier National Park in Montana twice, made me fall in love with mountains. i was born and raised in the city though, not sure i could hack a rural living. but damn I wouldn't mind waking up to that view every morning.

Such a shame this has to end, things are out of his command.

      welcome to the forums.

      easy...
Thanks! If you can't hack the rural life, then you need to find a rural friend that you can just go stay with once in awhile. Recharge the batteries and then head back for the city.
