      Awaken dreams... If you do not recall having them, you still could have had them - but, if you did not know you was awake in the dream, then no. This was not an "awaken dream" ...

      When you sit/are as awake as you are now sitting there, reading this; in a dream, knowing you are also in your bed sleeping, then you are having a "awaken" dream, ...

      Yep that was a lucid dream. Trying to wake yourself up means that you knew that you weren't awake in the first place, which is the definition of lucidity.
