      You may be talking about something like HemiSync, I-Doser, Brainwave Generator, etc.

      Binarual beats, different wavelengths of sound in each ear that form together as a pulse, bringing your brainwaves to the desired state.

      If you're actually talking about listening to music or something during lucid dreaming, i have no idea. Sorry!

      If you are talking about subliminal MP3's and the like, then it sort of sounds like ambient musid. Subliminals send messages to the brain that it doesn't interpret 'till you are asleep.
