      weird

Ok... A lot of people are saying that when they dream they can't distinguish the difference between real life and dreams. 9 times out of 10 I can tell that I am dreaming but it feels like I am just along for the ride in my own body. It's weird. Like if I am dreaming and I try to run it feels delayed and kind of sloppy (like trying to sprint in a pool). Another thing I have noticed is that it's like I am looking through a tunnel sort of. I can see the middle clearly but whatever is not in my direct line of vision seems slightly blurred and I can't see details. How do I make a dream feel more real?

      Hey Leonitas
      Welcome to Dream Views!

Like with most things you have to start off learning from scratch.
Learning to crawl to walk to run, same applies while dreaming. I had a lot of trouble moving in my first dreaming attempts and found all I could do was float, while trying to walk around. The dreams become vivid with practice.

Keep it up. You sound like you have the first step beat: being aware that you are dreaming

      See you around,
I play broccoli with checkers every night.

Hi and welcome to Dream Views.

Your problems aren't unique. Others experience the sloppy and slow running. One of the simplest methods of attaining vividness or control is simply to affirm, out loud if need be, that you are in control of the dream.
You want to see more than through tunnel vision, try commanding your field of vision to widen.
Want to break free of the sluggish running? State your intent to run normally, or even to run at super speed.
With practice you will eventually move beyond those hindrances and onto bigger and better things.
