Have you ever tried using reality checks? This is a lot more effective than just "talk" yourself into LDing, especially for a beginner. Read that tut, pick out a few reality checks from the list (1, 3, and 11 are my favs ), and do them at least 20 times a day.

Hey, remember that it takes a variable amount of time to learn to LD. Some people pick it up right away, and for others it takes time. It took me about a month too, don't worry. Just keep working at it, be patient, and don't let yourself become frustrated.
