      Hi Dreamers

      Newly joined
I think I have been close to LD in the past.
I've been reading here and other LD sites for few days now.
In the past I have questioned reality in dreams but not come to lucidity.
I would ask myself "am I dreaming" in my dream and I tried to wake up but did not and the dream just went on.
There are dream theams or scenarios I get that I remember seeing even as a child. Any thoughts on these experiences?
Looking forward to learning how to really do it!

Glad to hear about your dedication to learn. But be aware. Slower is better. Build your basics, then add some induction techniques and so. It is superb you had some experiences. You will get more info about dream induction in our tutorials. But first i would suggest you to visit recall forum here in dreamviews to find valuable info about first step in LD. Create some dream journal. Think about how you create it. Try to play with your journal, create some symbols, some information which will help you to get it organize. Dedicate time to Lucid dreaming and you will get the understanding of your internal world. And you know. Thats one of the most important things that will help you to get lucid.

      Enjoy and ask your questions/

Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of Dream Views.

In regards to the dream scenes you remember you might be able to use those as dream signs, simply if you feel you've been there before either do a reality check or tell yourself that you MUST be dreaming. It may take some time to get into the groove of using the scenes to trigger lucidity.. or it may not.. key is to practice and stay dedicated.

You might want to check out Seeker's Lucid Dream Quick Start Guide. It's great for beginners, giving you a quick but precise method of working on getting lucid.

Good luck getting lucid and see you around.
