      Have never Lucid before

So I'm new, and trying to become more lucid such as becoming more aware in my dreams. I love dreaming and get so many great dreams but for some reason I can't control them, which is a shame. But I'm here to learn more about dreaming so hopefully one day it will happen .

Oh, I had my first LD today, I THINK.

Guess when I learnt about LDs?

      YESTERDAY!!

      Freaky, yes?

Hey If you want to control them, this is how I controlled the one LD that I got, or I think I got. I RCed myself and then it was an LD so I was aware. Then I tried telling myself in the dream that I can do ANYTHING in it. And I could! (I ended up killing my ex, which nobody should do, teehee)

Dream controll and lucidity are directly related. When you get lucid you will see, that you can controll it, becouse you are the entity who is looking at the world and you have your dream legs, dream arms and dream body. I agree that maybe someone cannot controll his dreams, but it is his job to learn to do it. You will like dream control more than the others, becouse you will have to fight for it.

If you have some question, please discuss other forums such as dream controll and dream recall. Ask you questions and the answers will help you.

One more thing {of this lengthy answer}. Occupy your mind with dream controll. Try to connect dreams with reality, becouse thats where you controll things.

Enjoy dreaming and the controll will come.

Hi and welcome to Dream Views.

Might I suggest Seeker's Lucid Dreaming Quick Start Tutorial if you haven't read it yet. It's got the stuff you need to know to start working toward lucidity.

Control will come in regular dreams and in lucid dreams with more practice. Good luck with your dreams and see you around.

You dream about what is out of the ordinary. You just learned about something new, so you dreamed about it. dreaming about lucid dreaming makes you lucid. Lots of people (half here I bet) had lucid dreams the first night they researched it.

      Welcome to Dreamviews.

My advise. DONT try to have a Lucid dream. Start working on the basic skills of reality checks and dream recall (maintaining a journal) and let the LD come to you.

      Welcome to the forum Velvet

Firstly this is a good place to learn how to lucid dream, not only because of the information that this place has but because of the great support that is here.

If you want to learn to lucid dream then you will need to imporve your dream recall so that you can remember your dreams. To do this you will need to write down your dreams in a dream journal.

As for lucid techniques I suggest that you try a WBTB with a MILD. My personal favourite

      Good luck and have fun.
