Did you remember any dreams? Did you notice anything strange in them? Perhaps this WBTB is jzst not your thing and you should try other ways of getting a LD. Like a WILD, since you seem to be able to wake up in the middle of the night. Also, failing twice isn't such a big deal. Sometimes people fail if they try too hard. I'm not a big WBTB fan, so maby other people have better explanations.
