You spend 1/3 of your life asleep, so why waste it?
Depends on your attitude and effort. You'll get vastly different personal accounts - for some, it was the first night of trying, and for others not until years afterward. Some are naturals and have done it since childhood. You seem committed, though, so I don't think you have long to wait. |

For me the day after reading stuff on DV for the first time. It's different for all peeps, just relax into it and they will come for sure. |

I'm also trying the MILD technique from the book "Exploring the world of lucid dreaming" that I recently bought, hopefully it works |

I began trying to lucid dreaming back in 2001. I finally had my first lucid dream (it was AWESOME) on November 28th 2007. So... it took me six years. |

Do a reality check.

I had mine the first night I knew what a lucid dream was, but then didn't have another one for a full year and even forgot all about it. |

Like what has been said, it's all very dependant on your confidence and practice. I had one after two weeks. But it only lasted about 2 minutes. DON"T RUSH IT. trust me. |

You do this every fucking time.
No sweat.
No tears.
No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.
