      Yes it actually is normal

But don't worry. On the times I got to that point I freaked out as well and let it go heh

I think that is SP onset.. shouldn't take long before a dream starts after that point

Yeah its good, freaks you out the first few times. You should be hoping for that state, it means youre on the right track

      ok thats good!
the problem is that wen i get to that point it no longer freaks me out but i get excited that im on the right track and im gonna hav a dream. then my mind fills with thoughts and i lose the SP
      still need more practice.

oh and wilding an hour after waking up after 5 or so hrs of sleep works really well...just not wen u hav stuff on ur mind

      thanx all

oh and swank, that quote is very interesting, wheres it from?

Since your initial question was answered all I have left to say is welcome to Dream Views.

Keep practicing and you'll move past that excitement stage soon enough.

      See you around.

I'd like to welcome you too!

I've at first though WILDing was scary too. It is a really useful way to get Lucid after a while, and sometimes it can be fun.

      Good Luck,
      Forgotten~
