Falling asleep... am i going into sp?

So, i've been having something weird ( to me atleast) happen for practically as long as i can remember when i go to sleep. If i lay still and concentrate on nothing, i feel my eyes roll into the back of my head... maybe they are maybe they aren't but in my mind everything starts spinning. Last night i read Ninja's "99 breaths to releive a wandering mind" ( http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=46367 ) and that same sensation came back but it was wicked intense. So from what i can gather... i'm either going into sp or am entering a wild. any opinions? also another thing i'd like to get cleared up with myself: After a nights dreaming i wake up in the morning feeling very tired right after a dream but my mind is just rambling on about the most random things... this morning for instance i woke up... i think... looked at the clock and my mind just started rifling off thoughts... " i wonder if its a snow day" " it must be" "they havent woken me up yet" " oh well" " lets take the risk" " i wonder if its a snow day" " whats today" " should i get up now? " *falls back asleep* * instant dream* Like everything is just a blur and its very hard to concentrate on one thought. Heck i dont even know what im trying to ask here. I guess i just want to get my mind to understand what is going on so i can get a better grasp on being lucid. Thanks to all who responde

although i dont know anything about the first part of your question, i have experienced what you described in the second half. it happens when i wake up from a dream, and it's like my mind is still in sort of a dream state, it's as if my mind is still wandering on its own, and i have very little control on focusing my thoughts. i find it very very annoying, lol. doesnt happen to me very often though luckily, probably only a few times a year. maybe someone more knowledgeable can tell us whats going on here
