      Talking Sorta-newbie here.

I quit about three years ago, but I'm starting up again! I can't really remember why I stopped. I never had much success, but I guess I didn't give it enough time. Until last night, I couldn't even recall the last time I remembered a dream, but last night I went through my old dream-recollection routine as I was trying to fall asleep and I remembered pieces of five dreams, waking up after each!

I would really appreciate if you guys could brief me on any important new tips and techniques that have been discovered over the last three years, if there are any worth mentioning.

It's a blast looking through all my old posts. It's weird how set I was on a lot of my philosophical beliefs at 17 (I'm 21 now). Anyway, good to be back.

      Hey welcome back

I have only been around for about a year so couldn't say what is new - but if any questions do come up, please ask

      Adam.

I can thoroughly recommend writing in a dream journal. I am just back into LDing after a long break from it (hard to LD when you're living with someone who reads WAY too much into dreams). But the way I got back into it was to write down anything I remembered. Even if it was something tiny, I still wrote it down. Now I am back to LDing between 2 and 8 times a night. It should also improve your general recall too.

Yeah, I'm back to writing in my old journal. I pretty much used to go for DILD's by finding common dream signs in my written dreams and doing reality checks when I saw them in real life and dreams. The usual stuff. It'll take a little while to figure out what my new dream signs are.

      Hi and welcome back.

It might do you some good to give the tutorials a perusal. I think a few people have added some techniques to induce lucidity.

I'm assuming you remember the basics so I won't bore you with those but also feel free to check out the lucid aids section too. There are some new ideas and mp3s in there if you want to take that route.
