Out of curiousity, are reality checks and journaling the only techniques you're using right now? How about WBTB and MILD, do you practice those? WBTB really seems to help me more than anything... there's a study by LaBerge http://www.lucidity.com/NL63.RU.Naps.html that shows that on average WBTB increased the chances of lucidity by ten times! |

John Lennon: I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now? Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.
I think WBTB is an equivalent to what i know as the Nap technique, names are unimportant...but i guess its when you wake up earlier than usual, stay up for 45 min-1 hr or until before your tiredness fades...and then go back to bed |

Am i doing MILD right? I was in bed ready for sleep and just cleared my mind of any other thought. I kept repeating to myself phrases like "i will realize i'm dreaming, i will be lucid tonight, i will remember my dreams" |

Tried MILD last night but it took me over 2hrs to get to sleep. In the end i just let my mind drift off onto whatever it wanted and i fell straight to sleep. |

The first time that I had a lucid dream it was a year before I had another one. Dry spells are common (I'm in one right now) and they last for varying amounts of time. Just keep at it and it'll happen. |
