      thanks for all the replies

i was dreaming all night. most of in incoherent. for some reason i woke up periodially, but only remembering bits of dreams. i tried to stay still and remember, but i always moved :/

so, this morning, i had a dream. i was in a corridor at school, and there were a circle of girls standing at the corner. i went up to one and pulled a small pistol out of her handbag. i felt myself drifting off, and thought 'no, i'm going to stay and watch what happens.' the strange thing was, i could hear my music (i leave my ipod on overnight) and i was somewhere between sleep and wake. i walked down the corridor (still only observing) and threw the gun into one of the computer controlled CNC machines that was standing in the middle of the corridor for some reason. but the bottom of the machine was black, like a well. at that point i woke up.

it was completely random, but also quite funny at the same time. I still can't really control my actions, but i know i'm dreaming, and it's like watching TV through someone else's eyes. the trouble is, i can't recall all the things i should do in my dreams. i want to see if i've actually got free will, or just an imitation of free will, but i can never remember what i need to do.

      thanks,
      Joe
