Smile My LD Experience Thus Far......

      Hi.

Well i just wana say a little about my LD experience so far. i heard about lucid dreams on the radio a few weeks ago and instantly thought back to a dream i had when i was little, it was a nightmare were i knew i was dreaming but could not wake up from!

So after realizing many years later and only a few weeks ago that you could do this at will and create your own dream i thought WOW!!. I read a few articles and guides etc and the very first night i woke in a dream which had some pretty amazing content but then properly woke up what seemed like 10-15 mins later.

After reading some more the next day i attempted a WILD during the night before sleep and i felt so close, sleep paralysis and images etc but could not transfer probably because of anticipation.

i consider this success after only a couple of attempts, im lookin forward to putting more time and effort into this and exploring the lucid world. im a pretty normal guy who likes a drink etc so im also looking forward to explaining this to my mates down the pub and seeing the look on there faces !!!??!!!

      Hi! and to DV

Be sure to check out the tutorials section if you already haven't. There are some great tutorials in there. (my favorite technique is the FILD)

      Welcome!
I love the excitement - wait until you have a good LD, that's real exhilaration

But don't be surprised if some of your buddies don't believe you. What helps is to tell them that researchers have proven it - a Dr Stephen Laberge, for example, did some experiments. The lucid dreamers would move their eyes around in particular ways in response to a light, while they were LDing, to show that they were conscious.
