      Vivid LD

      Lastnight I had my 2nd lucid. It was amazingly vivid-almost more then real life. Are LDs always like this? I want to have lots of them!
      I will try very hard not to say anything stupid.But be warned that this does not always work!
      Total LD since June 2008=1?

      congrats on your LD! yes, most are like this... but it depends on circumstances sometimes... they may not all have super clarity, but they do usualy have a deep sense of realism attached to them...

      Lucid dreams are usually incredibly vivid because you wake up directly from the dream.

      Lucids (when in full control) are usually very vivid, but there are varying degrees of lucidity. You could have little to no control in a lucid dream, making the clarity and vividness quite bleak. But about 85% of the time, I'd say that the clarity and vivdness of the dream is equal to waking life!

      Thanks everyone! I didn't have any more lucids last night, but I'll keep trying!

      Welcome to the forum!

      Not all lucids are vivid however some can be more real then life as you say. Even un vivid ones can become clear if you just relax in a dream and take everything in.

      Yep. Various forms of relaxig (rubbing your hands..) can make things way more vivid. So if a lucid dream doesn't start out vivid, you have the oppurtunity to make it vivid!
