      Talking Hello!

I've been a lucid dreamer for about 5-6 years now. I learned about it from my mom, who is a psychologist and mentioned lucid dreaming a few times. She gave me one or two tips, and I just went from there. It took a long time but eventually I was lucid dreaming every night and I still do to this day.

I'm very good with dream control. At this point, I'm wondering about what I should be doing next. In the last few years, I've learned a lot about astral travel, which has helped enormously in explaining the OBE's I've had.

The reason I joined was actually the lucid tasks of the month. I haven't put myself to the test in a long time and I think it would be really fun to systematically test and record my dream control (other than just a dream journal, which I already do).

It's really hard to find other lucid dreamers, even on lucid dreaming forums. So I hope I meet lots of other LDers and I hope we can become friends.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

We've got a lot of experienced and friendly lucid dreamers here, so feel free to ask if you have any questions. Although with the experience you have, you might have a thing or two to show us.

Naiya, you definately came to the right place to find other LDers and I look forward to reading about your "task of the month" experiences.

You might want to review the Newbie Zone Guide for helpful information about this site: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=36723

You may also want to check out the Tutorials forum which contains information on the various lucid dreaming techniques and other helpful information: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25.

If you should have any questions, please ask and we'll do our best to get you answers.

      Welcome to Dream Views!

      Welcome Naiya,

The Tasks of the Month are one of my favorite things on this forum, too. It's fun to try a group goal and share and read about the the results--successes and failures.

      Good luck...

Hey, welcome Naiya - if you're looking for fellow LDers, you came to the right place!

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.

Ha, it's just what we do.

This is basically a forum not only for lucid dreaming discussion, but for LDers to talk about other stuff too. So if you're interested in chatting with other LDers, The Lounge would be a good place to start!

You also expressed interest in OBE's. There's a spot for that (the Beyond Dreaming section) also!

If you have any questions at all, feel free to PM me!

      Have fun at DV!

Also, it's a very good thing that you have already become skilled in lucid dreaming. Try checking out the "Task of the Month" sub-forum, as you will find different tasks to try and complete in your lucid dreams. It's a fun little thing, and if you complete one of them, you get a special badge added to your avatar/username compartment.

      Have fun!

Hehe. I just completed both tasks last night. I took me about four days of trying, though. It's hard to remember those things when you're asleep.

      Congrats!

I've been trying them, but my lucid ability is lacking. I'll get one tonight though!
