lucid stuff
right now im quite happy i seem to be having at least 1 lucid each week if not more:p but to my main point im getting quite frustrated because im unable to do quite a few basic things in my dream such as summoning people or flying or changing location
does any one use any techniques to achieve this? oh and i dont mind taking alot of time in the dream, ill use as much time needed to do these

not basic? oh ok. and i've sorta tried that expecting thing barely works and thanks for the quick reply
The things that you mention aren't actually as "basic" as you may think... a lot of people have trouble with those. I think there's a big thread somewhere all about summoning people... try using the search function and search by thread title, and just type in "summoning." A good technique is to expect to see someone behind a door, and then hopefully that person will be there when the door is opened.
Otherwise, you can try thinking of a new location while spinning.
