Thread: My First Lucid Dream!

So I started my dream journal Wednesday and thought, "I'll just build up DR for two or three weeks then try to DILD since it's easier than WILD." So last night, Friday night to be exact, I accidentally had a DILD ! Here's the copy directly from my dream journal. The stuff in parenthesis is something I forgot that came back to me later on. Blue = side notes for you guys.

02/16/08 - I'm in a car and I'm in El Salvador. My Tio Quino is driving and taking us to one of his houses. I'm sitting next to Nidia (a cousin of mine) then I accidentally say something to make her cry. I look out the window and a dragon flies over us. I am amazed at it's size and how menacing it looks then I instinctively do an RC. I plug my nose and I can still breathe! Just to make sure I look at a McDonald's sign whose text is constantly changing. I scream, "I'm dreaming!" I say, "When I open my eyes I will be in my room." I'm in my room for a fraction of a second then return to the car as it's turning into the driveway. I get into the house and my aunt hugs me and starts a conversation about a blanket and I get distracted. Then I remember that I'm dreaming and I go into my room. I lock the door and try to summon Nikea (a good looking friend of mine who is very suggestive but never actually does anything <.<). It doesn't work but I remember another trick. I close my eyes, picture Nikea naked and say, "When I turn around and open my eyes she will be there." I turn around and open my eyes and there she is I pick her up and put her on my bed and we have sex for a minute (*sheepish laugh* sorry, teen boy can't help the urges!)before the announcer on TV wakes me up. (When I enter the house I pick up a guitar and say, "I will be good at guitar." But when I play I'm still at my real life decent level.)

So this dream didn't feel very vivid to me but now I know for sure I can LD. Also I know I have to work on control and being able to manipulate stuff. Oh, and sorry about the sex thing but I'm a teen boy hehe. Plus I figure try this first and then do funner stuff later on (fly, fight monsters, etc.). I didn't feel much pleasure though .
Sorry to make this post really long but also when I wake up my dreams carry on into my consciousness like I know I'm dreaming and I feel my body keeping it's eyes closed and I'm thinking, "I'm about to wake up and I'm about to open my eyes." What is this? And is it good or bad?
