My dreamguide?

I have been in two strange situations in my dreams yesterday night and this morning. Yesterday I had a dream that I was in a city and I remember counting my fingers. I think I became lucid for a few seconds but I lost control. So in my non-lucid dream I remember thinking," I wonder where my dreamguide is?". It felt like something was behind me so I turned around and saw a person. Once I saw the person the scene of the dream changes and the person was gone. When I woke I forgot what the person looked like.

This morning I think I was kind of lucid but not enough to take control. After riding a bull (I'm not sure why I was riding it), I was standing around somewhere then I thought," I wonder where my dreamguide is?". I remember seeing a shadow of a person on the ground but when I turned around to see what it was the scene changed again and the person was gone! Hopefully tonight I get to see who the person is. Has this happened to you before?

The same thing happened again today. I can't remember if I was lucid or not but I remember running out of a movie theater. I wanted to find my dream guide but some random DC came up and starting talking to me. I talked with him for awhile then I remember saying," I have to look for my dream guide now." I walked for a while trying to get my dream guide to come out but it wouldn't work. Then I remember what I said for the last few days. So I said
" I wonder where my dream guide is?" and I had a feeling that someone was behind me so I turned around. There was a man that looks to be in his late 40s and he wore a suit. I'm not sure if he was my dream guide because I didn't have a chance to ask. Before I woke up he was telling me something that had a very intellectual sound to it. Unfortunately I can't remember what he told me.

Hi Wolf_Demon, sounds like you're beginning your quest to find your dream guide (may also be called spirit guide, depending on what your beliefs are).

Good luck on it, just be wary and don't take any character that claims to be your dream guide for the truth. I have read of accounts where some DCs try to deceive you into believing they are your dream guides.

I have met (what I believe to be) my dream guide a couple of times, and we just had a very small conversation, but he seemed to know a lot about me. I have an idea of what you mean when you said that "he seemed very intelligent." The conversation I had with my dream guide was very soothing and calming.

Dream guides might not actually be real. It depends on what you believe in, they are more of a spiritual thing. It really depends if you believe in spirit guides manifesting their way into your dreams.

The scientific explanation is that they are just your subconscious simply having a reocurring person enter your dream with no real meaning behind it.
