Thread: It seems I have a thing for SP experiences...

Well, first off, if you read my other posts you probably know that I would not like to encounter SP. With that out of the way, it seems my subconscious is teasing me.

In my other post "Dream? SP?" described my supposedly "SP" experience, but that looks more like a dream now compared with this morning's comparison with other's stories.

Let me describe the morning.

Dream: I was extremely angry at someone for putting my things in an aquarium. I took them out of the water and proceeded to do something when I thought "Why can't I see so well?" Bam. I had wrote about this before in "Other peoples experiences" just the day before, and knew that this was a dream.

"SP": I was still in my room, but I realized I was in bed. (Facing up) The sunlight was streaming in through the windows. My tinnitus (Natural ringing sound in my ear) really "hurt." I put out 2 fingers and passed my other 2 through them, and it succeeded. Then I proceeded to put my finger through the palm of my hand, and I again succeeded, but my right ear rang loudly. The continuous background sound was like a muffled jet engine, but only the high pitched spectrum. It was a harmonic but extremely loud sound. I could not move. My entire body started vibrating, it could feel good like people in this forum often say, but for me it was a little uncomfortable. I sorted out my dream priorities and wished myself inside my VILD. It was like pushing against a latex wall. I couldn't break through. The surroundings bent around me, but my tinnitus WHINED EXTREMELY LOUDLY. I though I better stop. "Okay, what next?" I thought to myself... I gradually began to realize I was in SP, but it was fine as it was morning and I felt safe. I was wondering when I would wake up when a sound did it for me. I woke to the EXACT same surroundings.

I'll describe the sensations alone:

Vibration all over my body
Twitching
"Eyes half open" vision
Paralysis
Tinnitus and whining sounds.



I will also say that my "hands" were not actually seen so much as felt, so it could have been a hallucination.




Since long posts generally end up being answered with the last question posed, I will sum all of them up for you.

1. Was this SP?

2. Why is this happening when I use FILD and VILD (And I didn't complete them that night)

3. Why can't I enter dream-world?

4. Am I a natural WILDer?

5. If so, can someone please tell me how to get rid of the painful sound and the inability to dream in SP?



All posts are greatly appreciated. I will mention also that this is not the first time I've had this, all sensations described happened to me in "Dream? SP?" but that may have been a dream as I was in a fictional bed in a different part of my room for parts of it.
