Hey folks. I have tried DILIGENTLY to have lucid dreams in the past (tons of reality checks, etc.) but totally lost hope when I failed time after time. I've come back with renewed motivation, and I want to find out if this technique has any potential?

First of all, I recorded my own voice saying "Danny, you are dreaming, lucid dream, lucid, dream, etc." and sent the MP3 to my phone. I'm going to have my phone sitting next to my bed, and as an alarm at like 3 AM, the MP3 will play. I'm hoping that it will either: A: Cause me to become lucid without waking up, or B: Wake me up and cause me to drift back to sleep very quickly, but I will consciously focus on placing myself in a location (or WILDing?).

I figured this would work because I always fall asleep REALLY quick when I wake up in the dead of night (bathroom, etc.)

So, does this sound like it has potential, or am I wasting my time?
