Within 45 minutes you should be able to get a lucid dream, however the really long, better quality dreams are usually in the later REM periods, a few hours into sleep.

Wow! Lucid dream in 45 minutes! I wish I will be able to do it someday. Right now I haven't had any LD yet.
But when you want to lucid dream in 45 minutes then should you use WILD technique?

Yes, WILD would be the most effective for going quickly into a lucid dream. Be warned though, WILDing is difficult even after WBTB, so it's going to be even harder trying to do it without WBTB.

Don't give up on the lucid dreams - it can take time. Just keep dream journaling and reality checking!
