What the hell happened in my dream?

When i went to bed yesterday the first two dreams i got were just random and non-lucid and so was the fourth (last) one. But the third one kinda confused me. I was dreaming that i was in the bathroom and looking out of the window and I saw a car in front of my house. It's body was disappearing and then coming back again. I thought: wait! that's not possible. So i went to my room (the house looked exactly the same) and looked at my mobile. The time was 25:7} or something like that. Then i instantly woke up and i mean instantly. It was like i saw the time and BANG i was awake. So that's the question: was it a extremely small lucid dream or not?

Did you realise that you were dreaming when you saw the time? That's what decides if it was a "small" lucid or not.

Actually i thought "oh god do i finally got a lucid dream" when i saw the car outside. But it was a light thought. By the time i looked at the clock i kinda felt like myself but my eyes got really sleepy when i looked at the clock, everything faded out and then i woke up. I was totaly calm when i did it (i didn't get exited).

If you realized you were dreaming then the dream was a lucid one. You don't have to verbally state it in dream, (though stating it seems to help me ground the dream more) but only know that you're dreaming.

Welcome to the forum! Well the big question is did you know you were dreaming? Either way it sounds like you were close to working it out, shame really because you could have had a little bit longer and worked it out.

Like i said, i knew it 10% because i kinda felt myself and my awake life thoughts started to come into my mind, but very lightly. If i would just kept myself dreaming when i looked at the clock i would have maybe fully realized it. But the reason i went to check the clock was because i didnt have full thought on that i was dreaming and i wanted to check if my wait has finally paid off...
Does it actually pays off a long wait?
