      Hey welcome to the forum.

Your writing is easy to understand so I wouldn't worry about that. Sounds to me like you were experiencing the beginnings of a WILD - you can search the forums for this technique, a lot are found in the Attaining Lucidity forums.

If you have any questions, please just ask.

      Adam.

      Welcome, Blue Scout...

I'm glad you decided to come back and give lucid dreaming another try.

If you haven't check out the Quick Start Guide at the top of the Newbie Forum. It has lots of useful info about this site and lucid dreaming.

Thanks a lot for welcoming me!

And thanks for reminding me of the Quick Start Guide which I haven't yet looked through completely. But I read the DreamViews Site in one blow. It's very well structured and an easy to read introduction into the whole concept of lucid dreaming/controlling consciousness. So, compliment to the creaters...

      ...
It would be possible that it was the very beginning of a WILD that just wouldn't go further at the time but I don't think so... and still, how can I know? Remember, I wasn't intending to attempt a WILD, I was just trying to fall asleep a little more consciously while repeating to myself that I will remember my dreams after waking up. So if what I described should happen again, how should I proceed? Just keep on concentrating on that state and trying to keep it or is there any "test" you can apply to check if what you experience is WILD-like?
Well I'm sure I'll find the answer on this site...
