Dear everyone
I'm new here and made my first post yesterday but in an already existing thread within the newbie zone. So today I thought why not posting a new thread.
The following is what I wrote yesterday in the other thread:
"Hy everyone..
I'm new to this forum but the site is not new to me in general. I found the dreamviews.com community 4 years ago but wasn't concentrated and dedicated enough to follow what I would now call an "always returning intuition" that I should actually try to get into lucid dreaming resp. finally start working with/on consciousness.
Though I get easily distracted by a lot of things but especially my own emotions and thoughts, I think I bring along some helpful skills that are rather preexisting than acquired. I'm talking about a very good dream recall ability without practising and there are these returning things, moods, surroundings I could determine as dream signs. And yet I had only one lucid dream in my childhood which I can still remember.
So, I hope this is all not just a big gibberish of mine and I'll keep trying. (I only started this week and haven't had a lot of results yet)."
The last night wasn't special. I remember a "normal" dream, without any lucidity. But during the falling asleep process something interesting happened.
Instead of my consciousness/thoughts "fading" continually as I'm used to I suddenly experienced a fast and jumpy sorta movement of the mind as if it was contracting. It felt as if my mind/consciousness got smaller and yet I felt more expanded.
I wonder if anyone can share this description of experience. Well it wasn't that special, yet new to me.
(PS: Who doesn't know that it is kinda hard (or even impossible) to talk about non-physical issues...English is not my native language so I actually can't possibly meet all my requirements while expressing non-material issues.
It's fun though
