      Hello everyone

Hi everyone. I just found this site after searching about dreams. Ive always been interested in dreams but I haven ever given much thought to dream interpretation aside from obvious events that take place. (Ie: scary movie - scary dream)

I'm 18 years old and have a lot of very vibrant dreams. I remember dreams often, and I often experience lucid dreams. because of recent events in my life and personal feelings and my own maturing my dreams have become much more telling and mysterious. Ive recently taken interest in dreams so I've come across here to meet other nice people and also hopefully get some helpful understanding.

      Hi Firestem, welcome to Dreamviews!

You're lucky to have lucid dreams frequently. With a little effort, and some practicing of the methods in the tutorials section, you could get a lot of lucid dreams.

You may be interested in the Dream Interpretation forum, where you can post dreams to be interpreted or help others interpret their dreams.

If you have any questions about the forum or about lucid dreaming, feel free to contact me or any of the dream guides (members with the green names). I'll see you around the forum!

To be honest I never do anything to try and experience a lucid dream. Ive always been a person of take as it comes, but always expect. When I dream I dream lucidly, or uncontrollably, or don't remember it. its always different depending on my moods and situation(which is an obvious factor in anything with dreams), Although I loose memory of my lucid dreams shortly after I wake up. Same with my regular dreams although ive had dreams that to this day I still remember. And others that I don't remember but recurr every year or two,

I read recurring dreams usually indicate some sort of problem. But I think when it says that it meant dreams that frequently recurr. Unlike the ones I experience which are usually exhilliarating.

I think another factor that affects me is I'm Sleep Apneaic. I use a CPAP which keeps me from suffocating. I toss and turn alot cause I wake up in the middle of the night without the cpap mask on. So I experience a lot of dreams that sometimes continue through the night, or change into new ones. I constnatly have many dreams because of my sometimes disturbed sleep patterns.

      to DreamViews, Firestem!

I wish I had your ability to dream lucidly so easily. I guess being disturbed by the apnea as you are has a benefit for dreaming, if not for sleep in general.

I hope you have fun and learn some things here.

      Welcome to the forum Fire!

You seem to be a natural and have an easy ability to lucid dream. This is really good! Do you have a dream journal? It will help your recall and will be useful to use as soon as you wake up so that you don't forget those lucids!
