      WILD question

So I tried a WILD for the first time and my results weren't that good.
Although I ended up having 3 dreams of which I woke up after each of them, my attempt on a WILD was worthless...

I lay relaxed with my mind clearing thoughts; I felt my body get heavy, and I felt the heavy 'blanket' slowly going up my body starting at the toes. Then after about 5-10 minutes I started experiencing REM and my mind was completely clear.

It was going good up until this point. My mind/body stayed in this state for about 15-20 minutes without doing anything more. I still had the heaviness/REM but I couldn't fall asleep.

I tried this WILD while laying on my back; I usually lie on my side. Is this the problem? Maybe I was too impatient with it, but I'm not sure why I couldn't fall asleep.

      Any advice?

Sometimes you just can't WILD, no one seems to know why. It's a very hard technique to do the first time and you're just going to have to keep trying. I can try 10 times in a row and not get any.

Gotcha, thanks, and I think i'm gonna try that lucid mp3 and see if it helps me. Also I've been doing more RC's so maybe I can DILD.
