An old dog some new tricks.

      Hello all.

I am new to DV and i think this site is great.
Never did i know untill yesterday that there is websites like this which can teach dream control to other people. I think this is great.

I've been able to control my dreams since i was a small child but i havent for a while. I want to get back into the game...

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to guarentee a dream, JUST a dream, not being lucid or anything else.

This is the ONLY problem i have, dreaming.

Will i be more likely to dream if i have a healthy amount of sleep or does it matter?
because my sleep patterns are constantly scattered randomly.

      I wouldnt mind e-mails hehe
      Thankyou xx

Also it's best to have a healthy amount of slepe to get some good REM time, it's suggested to get like 7 hours or so a night preferrably more.[/COLOR]

A good way to remember your dreams, is before going to sleep, visualize the moment you're going to wake up, and while you're visualizing the moment you wake up you gotta think about how you will try to remember your dreams and write them down. Then go to sleep. When you wake up, the first thing you will think about is remembering your dreams, and you will remember them!

This works for me ^^ and hi welcome to the forums =)

would you consider it strange if an alien spent several hours prone each night while their soul roamed in another dimension? We are strange creatures..

honestly, a dream journal is going to be your best bet, I've been practicing lucid dreaming for less than one month now, but I've had two (which isn't a ton, but I had only heard about dream control a few weeks ago). I credit my dream journal (and all the awesome people and tips of this forum) for my success

Okay, I shall think about keeping a dream journal.
And thank you. My user name was inspired by a band from your home town actually, Ontario. And Alice In Wonderland.

Oh, I would have thought it would have been Jefferson Airplane, you kind of look like Grace Slick.
