My advice is, get up early, and write those dreams!

Listen to Jdea - dream journals are the way to go!

If you're short on time, just write down a few keywords, and then try to write the whole thing later when you have more time

Also, Think about any dreams you do remember often during the day. And keep telling yourself how important it is for you to remember them. And that you will remember dreams next time you are sleeping.

The fragments you get, should turn into full dreams in no time.

You may want to start a journal here on the forum. I find it helps recall even more when you know your sharing dreams with others.

      Good luck! And

You don't have to wake up every 90 minutes to write down your dreams. In fact, I don't advise you do that. Just sleep normally, and type/write down the dreams you remember when you wake up (before you go to school).
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

If non of the above great advice works, you might want to try waking up an hour or so earlier than you usually do in the mornnings. You might be able to catch a few dreams then to quickly keyword. Then lay back down and sleep to yoru regular waking time.

It'd also be a good chance for you to try suggest a lucid dream when you lay back down. (assuming you get back to sleep)

Also try maintaining a fairly regular sleep schedule. If your mind gets a steady pattern of wake and sleep it might reward you with improved dream recall.

I don't wake up during the night to recall my dreams. If I get a good nights sleep I can usually remember a few first thing in the morning.

      GOod luck.

Vex Kitten's advice is pretty good. You need to allow yourself time to recall your dreams. Even if at school you remember some more bits of your dream, overall I feel like I forget my dreams when I wait that long. I got into this stuff during my spring break, so I had some more time. If you decide to not wake up early (I know I couldn't), you can do more on weekends and especially during school breaks.

i just write down my dreams in the morning. in terms of recall it is not as good as in the middle of the night but that is a lot of work. what i do is after i wake up from a dream i go over the dream in my head. i recall everything i did as i am falling asleep again. i think it helps to have your brain think about it when you are awake. then it is easier for me to remember in the morning when i can write them down.

      welcome to DV koshni!

make sure you get to bed early enough to allow you enough sleep before you have to get up for school in the morning. Just try to gauge your time right, so that you have at least 5 hours before doing something like WBTB or WILD and still have enough time to experience a lucid dream. And you will only have to wake up once in the night. not every 90 minutes.

but even if you dont do a technique that requires getting up, just make sure you get plenty of sleep. Gives you more Lucid opportunity. that's my problem, because I have school too but I can not often bring myself to get to bed before 11:30 - midnight. not a good habit, because after getting a good amount of sleep and noticing how much better I felt that day, i realized how important getting sleep is

so... good for LDs AND health.

oh and yes... make sure to write in your DJ. VERY important

To me the most important thing is to keep a strict sleep schedule

When I get off of it I have a tough time remembering my dreams, but when I'm on it I can remember every detail even at the end of the school day (4:00).

I use Omega 3 and I get 5 dreams recalled a night. It may just be a coincedence.

I have a bottle of Vitamin B6. I do write down most of my dreams. I should write them all down. Anyways, I've noticed that when I take Vitamin B6 dream recall and lucidity is easier to obtain.

When I took one I could recall more dreams in greater detail. When I took three I had a Lucid Dream. It may all be a placebo, but who cares? As long as it works.
