Did I have my first lucid dream? O_o

Mhhh... I was wondering if I really was lucid in my dream last night...

So there I was, waking up in the middle of the night for the 4th time or so. I had an awesome dream recall (the first time for me to actually remember so many dreams, and also in a lot of detail) and I didn´t want to spoil the fun by trying to Wild, so I went back to sleep. The last thought before going to sleep was: "Bah, to hell with gettin lucid for now!"

      Then my next dream:
I was some kind of vampire, sucking peoples blood. I was hunting with some kind of female companion and because I was so foolish and attacked a guy in a public place with a lot of people going around, my "friend" was shot after they discovered that she was also a vampire...
I was able to escape and on the way home I found a little girl crying in front of our cityhall. She was upset and somehow lost her mother... dunno... anyway, I helped her to find her way back home.
Till then, everything was like a normal dream.
      But, here it comes:
First, you have to know, that the multistory building where I live, is enclosed with a pretty high fence.
So I was walking around the fence and suddenly wanted to take a little shortcut.
I was just like: "Wait...I´m a vampire, so don´t I have those superpowers like they always have in all these hollywood movies?"
Yep, so I grabbed the top of the fence and pushed myself up with all my power... I flew almost 20 meters into the air and landed safely. It was awesome. And right when I was one my way to the frontdoor, I thought "Mhh...What did I read on dreamviews again...? I can make myself grow wings and fly... That´s pretty awesome too. I´m gonna try that!"
Well, I did... not much success. After a few seconds of trying I woke up >_>

But my question is: Was I lucid?
I mean, at no point of time did I do a realitycheck or said something like "I´m dreaming!" and I didn´t feel the dream fading, feel myself waking up.
I didn´t even feel that I had that much control of my dream... It was just like I could direct a few of my thoughts to certain things, but that was all... I couldn´t change my dreamworld in any way, nor did I think about it.
I always imagine what cool things I´d do once I became lucid, but in the end, I forgot all about it .__."

The correct deffenition of Lucid Dreaming, is being aware you were dreaming.

No, I don't think you were lucid... Sorry.

Not all the time my furry little rabbit friend. Indeed someone may not definately know they're dreaming, but technically if you're getting ideas, you're getting lucid, and most likely, you aready are.

It sounded as if you may have been Lucid for a minute there. If you were able to reflect on something you read while awake, and wanted to try doing in a dream. You must have had some awareness that you were dreaming.

Maybe it was just really low level.

Like Luminous said, you don't have to have any control for it to be a Lucid Dream. It just means you know your dreaming. And there are differing levels of comprehension that you can have.

      For example:

You may know your dreaming, but then look for a pen and paper to write something down so you won't forget what happened. Forgetting that when you wake up you won't have the note anymore anyway.

I've done that before. Among other dumb things.

You don't have to have control for it to be a lucid dream. If you knew that you were dreaming, while in the dream, then you were lucid. If you didn't know, then you were not.
