Title explains it all. Whenever I wake up, I either am 'jumping out of bed' or rubbing my eyes. If you know any way to help me stay still after waking please reply. PS: purpose is for a deild. |

I'm not sure what will help you with that, the only thing that I can think of would be autosuggestion. Repeat to yourself (outloud or in your head) that when you wake up you will remain motionless. |

I also had problems with this i find it easier as you go on at first i did that but i stay more still now after thinking about it. |

If I were to decide in advance that i would attempt to DEILD upon waking up, I would most likely have the same problem. I usually tell myself to stay still and try to DEILD if I ever realize that I'm in the process of waking up from a dream, which happens more often that you would think. Just give it time. |

This sounds bad for dream recall also. When you wake up from a dream, its best to lie still for a few seconds to remember the dream and lock it in your memory. |
